I was given this book by my sister and reluctantly began to read it, here and there. However, certain life events have made me take pause, and I now incorporate a daily reading (in order) along with my other meditations: both secular and religious. The Bible verses, along with stories, chapter headings, and the women themselves, are such a breath of fresh air. An irrepressible hope.

The various authors comprise The Women of Faith group of which I have been a fan for many years. Have read Barbara Johnson's books for many years as well as others in this group. Highly recommend.
