About the Author
Charles R. Swindoll has devoted his life to the clear, practical teaching and application of God's Word. He currently pastors Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, and serves as the chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary. His renowned Insight for Living radio program airs around the world. Feel like you are there

I got this book because of the great reviews it had, however I still had my
reservations about a book about Jesus. How can anyone add anymore to what is
already known?
Charles Swindoll masterfully illustrates the life of Jesus, taking you to the
time when our God walked among us. This is a true refreshment, leading one to
take in deeply the living water called Jesus Christ.
I felt like I was there in livid detail. This is not another book about Jesus,
this is an eye peering, fantastically detailed biography, that at times reads like
a novel.
Bravo to Chuck Swindoll. I look forward to reading the other great lives of the Bible.

Wonderful subject and Swindoll is right on

It should be easy to tell a good story about Jesus but Charles Swindoll is always very interesting in the way he organizes his biblical biographies. He uses images and ideas we can all understand when we are trying to open the mystery and wonder in the Bible. I loved this book and got two more to share, one just for my son to keep.

Amazing insight!

The insight into the life of Jesus in this book is amazing. You can tell that Mr. Swindoll was writing with the blessing of God. I highly reccommend it and can't wait to read others in the series.
